This 19-week full-time certificate programme is designed for those aspiring to enter tertiary-level study in nursing, laboratory science, or health sciences but who need to develop prerequisite skills and knowledge. It covers academic study techniques, oral and written communication, research, relevant numeracy, as well as background knowledge in biology, microbiology, and chemistry—all within health and science contexts. Upon successful completion, graduates are prepared to meet entry requirements for programmes such as the UCOL Bachelor of Nursing.
