The Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Waikato prepares you for a career as a registered nurse through a three-year, full-time program. Delivered in partnership with local healthcare providers, the program features a blend of academic coursework and hands-on clinical experience, with a specific focus on Māori and Pacific health, equity, and wellbeing. Students benefit from innovative teaching, a strong foundation in health assessment, pharmacology, and health science, and gain clinical practice placements across the Waikato and Midland region.
