This 8-week, 15-credit micro-credential is intended for currently employed enrolled nurses in mental health and addiction settings. It covers the context of mental health and addiction nursing in Aotearoa New Zealand, focusing on safe, family-oriented (whanau) practice. The programme includes online learning with a 1-day on-campus orientation and is part of a suite of four micro-credentials, completion of which enables nurses to apply for Proficient status on the PDRP framework.
