Graduate with the required knowledge and clinical experience to seek registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as an enrolled nurse.

The New Zealand Diploma in Enrolled Nursing (Level 5) is an 18-month programme designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to apply for registration as an enrolled nurse with the Nursing Council of New Zealand. Students will engage in classroom learning, simulation exercises, and multiple clinical placements across healthcare settings such as rehabilitation, acute care, and mental health. The program emphasizes the fundamentals of nursing, clinical skills, and patient care, and provides practical experience necessary for a nursing career.
What you need to know first
NCEA Level 2 including 12 credits in Level 1 Mathematics OR New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation (Level 3) Health Pathway or equivalent
If using non-NCEA qualifications (e.g. IB, Cambridge), these will be assessed for equivalency
