Course Content
- Core courses in scientific foundations and transferable skills
- Year 1: Collaborative practices or Science and Society; introductory natural/physical/life sciences; foundational mathematical and computer sciences
- Year 2: Advanced science practice in Aotearoa; scientific inquiry or instrumental analysis
- Year 3: Science capstone project (research or industry project)
- Specialisation: Choose from majors such as Biological Science, Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Food Science, Analytics, Mathematical Modelling and Computation, or Marine Science
- Flexible component: Option to add minors or a second major, including subjects outside science
- Practical laboratory and fieldwork experience
- Preparation for postgraduate pathways
