The New Zealand Certificate in Music (Level 4) is aimed at individuals looking to enhance music performance skills, build confidence, and gain practical experience in the music industry. The qualification covers music theory, one-on-one instrumental tuition, ensemble skills, composition and arrangements, performance, industry awareness, and the use of music technology. What you need to know first
Applicants should be 16 years or older and have successfully completed NCEA Level 1 or equivalent, with at least eight credits at NCEA Level 1 in English.
