Communicate with people accessing social and community services in a manner that respects socio-cultural identity, experiences, and self-knowledge.

Contribute to identifying intended health outcomes and barriers to these outcomes.
This well-supported apprenticeship enables apprentices to develop the skills to work alongside people, family, and whānau, supporting health autonomy and self-determination. Apprentices engage in on-job and self-directed learning, with support from Careerforce Apprenticeship Advisors and access to online learning resources. The programme builds on prior skills, expanding critical thinking and reflective practice for health and community sector professionals.
