The programme is industry-led, delivered via on-job training and assessment of practical competencies relevant across health, social services, and youth work. Topics include Māori values, Mana Taiohi principles, professional ethics, human development, group leadership, youth profiles in Aotearoa, and essential skills for working with young people in a bi-cultural context. Graduates are equipped to plan, deliver, and evaluate projects aligned to youth development.
