It will take a total of 6 months

Students will learn to assess situations and make informed decisions relevant to military and service careers.

Achieve credits related to literacy and numeracy required for further study and employment.

Knowledge of civil defense operations and protocols.
This 26-week in-class programme develops leadership skills, literacy, numeracy, physical training, and teamwork for students aiming to pursue careers in military, defence, policing, fire, emergency services and civil defense roles. It offers 80 credits and includes a 30-hour work placement. The course is designed to prepare students for next steps such as joining the NZ Army, Navy, Air Force, or other community service-oriented careers.
