It acknowledges the importance of the Treaty of Waitangi to the people of New Zealand and highlights its implications for community and resource management in the sport and exercise sectors. Students develop practical expertise in the sport and exercise industry through close working relationships with various organisations, industry placement, and advanced modules in physiology, management, nutrition, and effective teaching in sport settings.
