What you need to know first
NCEA Level 3 - 60 credits at Level 3 or above and 20 at Level 2, including 14 credits each in three approved subjects, literacy and numeracy requirements; OR
NCEA Level 2 - 60 credits across four subjects including English and a Science/PE, plus mathematics and English/language credits; OR
Relevant Level 4 qualification; OR
Special/Provisional admission possible (see detailed regulations)
A current First Aid Certificate (NZQA 6401 and 6402) or working towards gaining it
Safety checks (interview, references, police vet, risk assessment)
IELTS 6.0 (no band less than 5.5) or equivalent if English is a second language
