Demonstrate ability to assess emergencies and enact an appropriate response during EOTC activities.

Develop and implement plans for EOTC activities that prioritise learner needs and safety requirements.

Lead and communicate with groups, managing behaviour and ensuring safety in dynamic outdoor settings.
AdventureWorks offers EOTC Instructor Qualifications across three levels, focusing on training individuals to safely and effectively lead Education Outside The Classroom (EOTC) events and trips. The program supports the development of leadership, group management, safety procedures, event planning and review, while embedding cultural competence and the NZ Curriculum in outdoor activity delivery. Graduates can act as Teacher in Charge for outdoor education events in schools and community settings.

Experience as Assistant Leader and/or Leader on multiple EOTC events (Level 4).
