Apply integrated approaches to teaching literacy, mathematics, science, arts, PE, health and social sciences in line with the NZ curriculum.

The Bachelor of Education (Primary Teaching) at AUT prepares students for a career as a primary or intermediate teacher. The programme covers pedagogy, curriculum integration (including literacy, numeracy, arts, PE, science), te reo Māori and tikanga, diversity, and significant practicum placements. Students may specialise in teaching Pacific children. Graduates are eligible to apply for provisional teacher registration.
