This applied programme enables working professionals to develop advanced skills in adult teaching, linking assessments and projects directly to current professional environments. Participants will explore contemporary adult learning theories, design effective teaching programmes, and focus on critical reflection to refine and improve their teaching practice. The qualification supports further study and career advancement in tertiary and workplace education.
What you need to know first
A bachelor's degree or a graduate certificate or graduate diploma in a cognate subject
Or a post-secondary school diploma in a related discipline at NZQA Level 7 or equivalent
At least two years relevant practical experience with two written references (employer and character)
