This programme introduces creative thinking and prepares you either for further tertiary study or entry-level roles in the creative industries. It develops strategies in problem solving, idea generation, and visual and oral communication, and introduces students to a variety of creative media and tools. The qualification also provides transferable skills necessary across many industries.
What you need to know first
10 NCEA Level 1 literacy credits
If you have undertaken examinations other than NCEA (e.g. IB, Cambridge), qualification assessed for equivalency
Alternative entry possible with evidence of equivalent skills from study, work, and/or life experience
