Conduct comprehensive research underpinning creative practice, integrating broad and in-depth knowledge.
Te Hono ki Toi (Poutiri-ā-rangi) | Bachelor of Professional Creative Practice (Honours) is a Level 8, one-year full-time programme providing postgraduate creative practice skills. It combines online, wānanga and face-to-face delivery focused on creating a professional body of creative work, underpinned by deep research and a specific matauranga Māori perspective. The programme is currently on hold. It builds upon undergraduate knowledge in visual arts and design and prepares students for careers in creative industries, academic roles, gallery curation, and entrepreneurship. Graduates may progress to the Master of Professional Creative Practice.
What you need to know first
A NZQF-listed undergraduate degree in a creative practice field with at least a B average or equivalent portfolio assessment
English or Te Reo Māori language fluency at academic level
