The Master of Professional Accounting (CPA) at Lincoln University is a specialised 180-credit, 1.5-year taught Master's degree that integrates CPA Australia Programme content with advanced academic study. It is the only Aotearoa-New Zealand course of its kind, designed to nurture communication, negotiation, and management skills alongside strategic and ethical professional accounting practice. Graduates can become full CPA Australia members after three years’ work experience. Learning is available both on campus and online, with compulsory and elective modules tailored to comprehensive accounting, global leadership, and research skills. Domestic students may be eligible for a fee waiver. CPA Australia membership and their associated fees are additional requirements.
What you need to know first
A relevant New Zealand level 7 bachelor’s degree or recognised equivalent with a B average or better in the 300 level and final year (full-time equivalent) courses.
