Produce and communicate accounting information to stakeholders in a professional, ethical, socially and culturally appropriate manner.

This programme provides core skills in accounting support services, ideal for those starting out or wishing to build their skills in the business world. Delivered in-class, online, or blended, you'll cover core areas like accounting principles, using accounting software (including Xero Certification), payroll systems, and business taxation. Develop communication, technical, and teamwork skills for successful employment in a range of business and accounting support roles.
What you need to know first
40 credits at NCEA Level 1 (including 10 Literacy credits and 10 Numeracy credits) OR a relevant qualification at NZQF Level 2 OR a recognised equivalent.
English language proficiency for applicants whose first language is not English or te reo Māori (e.g., IELTS 5.5 with no band lower than 5 or equivalent).
