Course Content
- Certificate in Accounting: Bookkeeping, journals and ledgers, depreciation, adjusting entries, financial statements, GST, income tax, Xero, MYOB, budgeting and cashflow, financial statement analysis, Excel for accounting.
- Diploma in Accounting with Xero: Business accounting, profit and asset valuation, cash and asset control, financial reporting, cost classification and costing methods, budget and variance analysis, tax (income, GST, company), SPFR frameworks, verification and completeness.
- Certificate in Xero: Xero setup, chart of accounts, contacts, invoicing, quotes, inventory, purchases, bills, reconciliations, reporting, add-ons.
- Advanced Certificate in Xero: Advanced features such as aged receivables/payables, fixed assets, budgeting, tracking categories, report preparation, custom templates, projects and expenses.
- Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) Program: Professional ethics, practice management, security, people, processes, digital business, client management, sustainability.
- New Zealand taxation law, payroll administration, practical guides and case studies using current NZ standards.
