What You're Signing Up For

Through active and applied learning in small classes, students will master accounting systems and processes, taxation, finance and financial management, economics, quantitative methods, audit and assurance, management accounting, financial accounting and reporting, business law, and accounting information systems. The programme includes a professional accounting project in the final year, allowing students to apply knowledge in a real business environment, culminating in real-world work experience. The degree is recognised by CAANZ and CPA as an education pathway toward full professional membership.

What you need to know first

NCEA Level 3 with 14 credits in each of three approved subjects

Literacy: 10 credits at Level 2 or above (5 in reading, 5 in writing)

Numeracy: 10 credits at Level 1 or above (specified achievement or unit standards 26623, 26626, 26627 - all required)

University Entrance as specified by NZQA, or equivalent for international students

Applicants aged 20+ without University Entrance may be considered on a case-by-case basis
