Understand and analyse maintenance systems and processes to identify best practices and risk areas.
This stand-alone online training scheme equips students with the knowledge and skills related to human performance, supervision, and management in aeronautical maintenance. Designed for current or aspiring aircraft maintenance engineers, the course prepares graduates for the NZCAA (Civil Aviation Authority) examinations, a compulsory requirement for licensing. Graduates will cover a range of topics relevant to aircraft maintenance certification, management, and leadership, and can apply credits towards further diploma study.
What you need to know first
Completed recognised aircraft maintenance engineering training (Level 4 or above), OR equivalent recognised international qualification, OR relevant experience in the aeronautical engineering industry or allied trade.
Demonstrated skills for tertiary study, assessed by NMIT if lacking formal qualification.
