This programme develops the skills and knowledge required to undertake vision and hearing screening of children in the healthcare sector. It is targeted at Vision Hearing Technicians and covers communication theories, professional behaviour, screening procedures, recognising impairment, ethical practices and vulnerability awareness. The qualification is delivered as on-job training, allowing trainees to earn while they learn and gain nationally-recognised credentials valued across health and wellbeing sector workplaces.
