This four-year honours degree is designed for those aspiring to become speech-language therapists. The curriculum combines academic coursework in linguistics, psychology, biosciences, and professional practice with supervised clinical placements in diverse settings across Aotearoa New Zealand. Graduates are prepared to assess and treat children and adults with varied communication and swallowing disorders, and gain eligibility to register as a speech-language therapist with the New Zealand Speech-language Therapists' Association.
