Develop and apply advanced relaxation and therapeutic massage techniques, underpinned by knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Utilise evidence-based strategies for stress management and wellness promotion to support and improve client wellbeing.
This diploma provides advanced study in wellness and relaxation massage, with a strong focus on anatomy and physiology, massage theory and practice, wellness promotion, and stress management. Students will gain hands-on experience with real clients in a massage clinic, supported by the South Island massage industry. Graduates are prepared to operate their own massage therapy business, work in the spa industry, or progress to further study.
Entry Requirements
NCEA Level 2 with 10 Literacy and 10 Numeracy credits, OR a relevant qualification at NZQF Level 3 or above, OR a recognised equivalent qualification
Applicants over 20 may qualify for special admission
