About This Course
This Level 4 certificate is designed for those currently working in the sterilisation of medical devices or wishing to enter this field. Learners gain practical, standards-based skills through online study paired with a compulsory workplace component (minimum 64 supervised work experience hours using sterilisation technology). The programme is suitable for those employed or able to undertake work experience in medical, dental, or veterinary sterilising environments. Graduates can pathway to the New Zealand Diploma in Sterilising Technology (Level 5).
