The Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Wintec trains students to assess and treat individuals who, due to illness, injury, or circumstance, are limited in their daily functioning. The program blends academic study of occupational therapy theory with substantial hands-on fieldwork placements. Delivered on the Hamilton City Campus by experienced Otago Polytechnic tutors, this three-year programme leads to registration as an occupational therapist in New Zealand and is recognised internationally.

10 Literacy credits at Level 2 or above (5 reading, 5 writing)

Health declaration, immunisation status, and police vetting (Vulnerable Children’s Act 2014)
