Massey University's Bachelor of Veterinary Science is a five-year, internationally accredited programme for students aiming to become veterinarians. The degree includes an initial pre-selection semester followed by four and a half years in a professional phase, with extensive clinical, laboratory, animal handling and work-integrated components. Face-to-face learning in a physical classroom setting
Manawatū campus, Palmerston North
It will take a total of 5 years

Utilise contemporary approaches to animal welfare, ethical decision-making, and professional responsibilities in veterinary contexts.
Successfully complete Massey pre-selection semester (or equivalent tertiary science study)
At least 14 credits in NCEA Level 3 Biology
At least 14 credits in NCEA Level 3 Chemistry
At least 14 credits of NCEA Level 2 Physics
At least 14 credits of NCEA Level 2 Mathematics
40 hours of pre-entry work experience in a veterinary clinic/hospital
B grade average (GPA ≥ 5) in prerequisite courses
Selection assessments: Casper, STAT and Multiple Mini Interview (MMI)
Evidence of English language competence for international applicants from non-English speaking countries
