The Bachelor of Architectural Studies (BAS) at the University of Auckland is a studio-based programme that introduces students to the fundamentals of architecture, including design, theory, sustainability, and construction. With hands-on studio work, real-world case studies, and use of industry-standard software and workshops, students develop creative and practical skills required for a future in architecture. Graduates are prepared for further study required for professional registration as architects, as well as for roles across design, consultancy, and the creative sector.
