This programme provides a robust introduction to beauty therapy, covering a variety of beauty treatments, cosmetic services, and key professional topics such as anatomy, physiology, and first aid. You'll learn with industry-standard facilities, work with real clients, and gain hands-on experience in a clinic environment. The programme also provides opportunities to learn emerging trends and techniques, and the option to sit the International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC) exam. Graduates meet the requirements to become a Registered New Zealand Beauty Therapist and can pursue a range of related careers.
Entry Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old by programme end.

Applicants under 20: NZ Certificate in Study and Employment Pathways (Level 3) OR NCEA Level 2 (English and Science credits preferred) OR NZ Certificate in Makeup and Skin Care (Introduction) (Level 3) OR equivalent.
Exception may be made for applicants under 20 who do not meet these requirements.
No minimum entry for applicants over 20.
