Barbering is a creative art with high industry demand. This full-time, one-year programme delivered in an on-campus professional barber shop provides students with in-depth skills in modern and traditional barbering techniques. Students also learn about the history and culture of barbering, as well as business, health and safety, professional ethics, and client engagement, preparing them to work independently in commercial settings such as barber shops and other facilities.
Entry Requirements
At least 40 credits at NCEA Level 1 including 10 Literacy credits and 10 Numeracy credits; or a recognised equivalent
