Massey University’s Master of Aviation (MAv) prepares students for senior roles in the global aviation sector or for further academic study. Delivered by an internationally recognised pilot training facility, the programme is structured around two pathways — research and professional practice — both available full time or part time, on campus or by distance. Students gain a comprehensive understanding of aviation industry management, human factors, strategic planning, airport management, and can undertake significant independent research or professional practice case studies. The programme offers flexible study modes and is suited for those with a relevant bachelor's degree aiming to progress their aviation careers.
