The Master of Applied Management (Business Management) provides advanced learning in management and leadership, offering both research and applied (professional project) pathways. The programme develops critical thinkers and effective problem solvers who can apply specialised management expertise to new business situations. Graduates gain high-level capabilities relevant to management roles across a variety of sectors. Delivery is on-campus in Dunedin (domestic/international) and Auckland (international only), with options for full-time or part-time study.

Apply specialised management and leadership knowledge to complex and new business situations.

Be a critical thinker and effective problem solver within business and management roles.
A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) in a related discipline with a grade average at Level 7/8 of B- or higher.
OR a combination of academic qualifications and relevant skills and knowledge acquired through work or professional experience deemed equivalent.
International applicants will be individually assessed for readiness.
English language: NZ University Entrance OR Academic IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0) OR acceptable alternative evidence.
