About This Course

The Master of Management (Hospitality) at Toi Ohomai is designed for students wanting to advance their scholarly research and master their strategic management capabilities, particularly in the hospitality sector. The programme offers two pathways: by coursework (180 credits, 18 months full-time) and by coursework & thesis (240 credits, 2 years full-time). You will delve into key areas of management, including communications, finance, strategic planning, human resources, governance, and marketing, while developing your research capabilities through applied projects and a thesis. Endorsement in hospitality is available through specialised modules. Graduates are prepared for a wide range of leadership roles within hospitality and related industries.

Undergraduate Degree with at least a New Zealand B- average at Level 7 AND at least one year practical or professional experience with at least two written references (for Coursework pathway)

Bachelor Honours Degree with a New Zealand B average at Level 7 (for Coursework pathway)

Postgraduate Diploma (120 credits at Level 8) (for Coursework pathway)
