The Master of Bioscience Enterprise (MBioEnt) is designed for science graduates seeking to bridge the gap between research discoveries and their commercial application. Taught by the School of Biological Sciences, Business School, and Faculty of Law at the University of Auckland, this degree develops skills in commercialisation, intellectual property law, valuation, and business planning. Students undertake a 90-point research thesis as part of a six-month industry internship, and complete 30 points of coursework focusing on research methods, product development, and regulatory environments.
