The New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (Level 6) (Civil) is a two-year programme designed in partnership with industry to develop practical civil engineering skills and problem-solving abilities. You'll gain a strong foundation in civil engineering theory and its practical applications—learning about design, drawing, surveying, structures, highways, hydraulics, geotechnical and materials engineering. Graduates are prepared for technician-level roles in civil construction and infrastructure, and the qualification is recognised under the Dublin Accord for international transferability.

NCEA Level 2 with 48 Credits at Level 2 in 4 subjects, including 12 credits in Mathematics (preferably algebra, calculus, or trigonometry), and at least 10 literacy credits at level 1 or higher (for NCEA achieved before 2013)
OR New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation (Level 4) Ara Engineering Pathway or equivalent
Alternative entry for applicants with evidence of equivalent skills through study, work, or experience
If English is not your first language: IELTS 6.0 Academic (with no band score less than 5.5), or equivalent acceptable alternatives
Sales Engineer
