The Civil Construction Engineering Major at AUT prepares students to design safe, cost effective, and environmentally sustainable buildings and infrastructure. The programme includes coursework in construction management, structural engineering, materials technologies, building information modelling, construction systems, productivity improvement, and waste reduction. Students gain practical industry experience, including an industry-based research project and 800 hours of supervised work experience in the civil engineering sector.
