The Master of Civil Engineering (MCivilEng) at the University of Auckland is a postgraduate programme designed for graduates who wish to deepen their expertise and become leaders in civil engineering. The programme covers the advanced design and construction of infrastructure such as buildings, transportation systems, water and wastewater facilities, ports, bridges, and entire urban environments. Offered with both taught and research pathways, the MCivilEng is available to students with a three- or four-year engineering degree, and can be completed either on campus or partially online. Graduates will be prepared to design solutions for complex engineering challenges, considering sustainability, public health, and societal impact.
