The Bachelor of Software Engineering at Yoobee combines computer science, programming, art and design, social science, and business knowledge, with specialisations in Cloud Computing, AI, Cyber Security, Game Development, and Web & App Development. The programme includes real-world team projects and industry-relevant modules. Year one focuses on foundations, year two allows students to specialise, and year three culminates in a capstone project or internship. Students gain practical experience with industry-standard software and participate in collaborative, project-based learning.

It will take a total of 3 years

Participate in project work utilising SDLC concepts and practices.
Interview required for eligibility.
General Admission: NCEA University Entrance (UE), CIE/IB grades, or equivalent overseas secondary school or tertiary qualification.
Ability in art and design, mathematics and/or computing/digital technologies.
Discretionary Admission: significant achievement in Year 12 or relevant foundation programme or tertiary qualification, with a supporting portfolio (for applicants 16-20 without General Admission).
Special Admission: over 20, relevant experience and skills, NZ citizenship or permanent residency, portfolio and/or industry experience.
International: English language proficiency (IELTS Academic 6.0 if first language is not English).
