What You're Signing Up For
Yoobee's Diploma in Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity equips students with advanced skills for roles like Cloud Administrator, Solution Architect, and Cybersecurity Specialist. Over 32 weeks full-time (or 64 weeks part-time), students develop expertise in managing public cloud infrastructure, automating IT services, and designing secure, scalable cloud solutions. The programme blends theory and hands-on learning with industry-standard software and equipment, covering cloud storage, data analytics, advanced network security, and risk management. Students also learn about multi-cloud security, best practices, project management, and are supported to pursue widely recognised industry certifications (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Fortinet). Entry requires a prior Level 5 IT diploma or equivalent, and a portfolio may be submitted for special admission.
Course Content
- Public Cloud Administration: Configuring, managing and adapting cloud infrastructure, exploring virtualised environments and cloud service models.
- Data Engineering in Public Cloud: Designing, building and optimising scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, data storage, governance, and real-time analytics.
- Cybersecurity in Cloud: Securing cloud infrastructure, focusing on compliance, encryption, threat mitigation, incident response, risk assessment, and vulnerability management.
- Multi-Cloud Security Integration and Project Management: Security best practices, threat detection, identity and access management, compliance across cloud platforms, advanced security tools, troubleshooting, and industry-based projects.
- Hands-on experience using AWS, Microsoft Azure, Cisco, Fortinet tools including AWS Academy, Azure Labs, Cisco Packet Tracer, and FortiGate Firewall.
- Project management and collaboration in IT cloud environments.
