Gain the ability to understand and work from plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying technical drawings.

Master appropriate use of safety equipment and adhere to industry health and safety requirements.
The New Zealand Certificate in Plumbing, Gasfitting and Drainlaying (Level 3) provides the essential knowledge and practical skills required for entry-level positions in the plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying trades. You will learn how to assemble, install, and repair piping systems; use technical drawings; fabricate basic components and apply health and safety measures relevant to the industry. Graduates of this programme will be well-prepared for apprenticeships and further study in the sector.
