Apply skills and knowledge to perform marine interior coatings tasks independently to industry standards in new or refit vessels.

Demonstrate safe working practices in a marine coatings environment, including hazard identification and mitigation.
With the opportunity to specialise in either exterior or interior coatings, training and assessments cover all aspects of the trade. As a marine coatings apprentice, you will work alongside experienced painters to master surface preparation, application techniques and the science behind marine-grade paints and protective coatings designed for harsh saltwater conditions.
