As a marine interiors apprentice, you will learn to transform empty hulls into functional, beautifully finished spaces – from luxury yacht cabins and galley systems to fishing vessel fit-outs. Training and assessments cover all aspects of the trade, and as you progress, you’ll work alongside specialists in interior coatings, marine trimming and interior design to help bring vessels to life.
Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will develop precision skills and learn to work with marine-grade materials. You will start with foundational tasks such as templatemaking and measuring in confined spaces, then progress to more complex projects involving cabinetry, trim work and finishing.
