In-person study
Face-to-face learning in a physical classroom setting

It will take a total of 19 weeks

Demonstrate working knowledge of essential safety responses relevant to plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying.

Work competently within regulatory, legal and ethical frameworks governing the trades.

Gain skills in excavation, trenching and basic drainlaying practices.
This programme provides students with foundational knowledge and hands-on skills in residential plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying. Students will be taught by experienced practitioners and engage with industry through visits to plumbing businesses and suppliers. The course includes safety training, regulatory and ethical frameworks, and practical skills related to excavation, plumbing systems, and gasfitting safety. Successful completion equips students for apprenticeships and entry into the well-paid construction trades industry.
