Describe and demonstrate correct driving procedures and considerations to safely and legally operate special-type wheeled, roller, and tracked vehicles on public roads.

This short course is designed to satisfy NZTA requirements for obtaining Wheels (W), Tracks (T), and Rollers (R) endorsements on your driver licence, allowing you to legally operate special-type vehicles (wheeled, roller, tracked) on public roads. Learners will understand the legal requirements, safe operation procedures, and responsibilities when driving these vehicles. Unit standards 16701 (Wheels), 16702 (Rollers), and 16703 (Tracks) are attained. The course offers online learning with optional in-person workshops and regional support.
