Receive support and assessment from trade-qualified educators and LBPs during on-site visits and practical workshops.
This four-year, part-time Level 4 programme blends workplace apprenticeship with structured, off-site learning, delivered in partnership with Licensed Building Practitioners (LBPs) and industry professionals. Most learning is on-site with support from a trade-qualified assessor on regular visits and off-site day release classes at Dunedin or Cromwell. Graduates acquire strong carpentry knowledge and practical skills, readying them for the NZ construction sector in roles from Carpenter to Site Manager.
Entry Requirements
You must be employed or contracting within the construction industry.
You must be supervised by industry professionals who support your training.
