This course provides a comprehensive introduction to workplace Health and Safety in New Zealand, aimed especially at the Arboriculture industry but relevant to all workplace environments. Participants gain an understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, risk and hazard management, appropriate use of protective gear, emergency procedures, and legal rights and responsibilities in workplace safety.
