Gain essential introductory skills and theoretical knowledge required to begin a career in plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying.

Develop and demonstrate key safety skills and understand health and legal requirements in the trades.

Operate safely with industry-standard tools, recognize basic industry patterns, and adhere to regulatory and ethical standards.
This programme provides foundational knowledge and practical training in plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying, designed to prepare students for apprenticeships or entry-level industry roles. Delivered in a purpose-built trades facility, the course covers up-to-date technology, safety skills, tools, regulatory and ethical considerations, and gives exposure to industry practices through direct learning with skilled tutors. Graduates are prepared to move into apprenticeships or work in supporting roles within the sector.
