This Level 6 diploma trains students in practical and theoretical aspects of quantity surveying, focusing on estimating and feasibility, quantification, pricing, financial administration, and cost control for construction projects. The programme includes real-world projects, interaction with industry professionals, and opportunities for site visits and practical investigations, equipping students to manage finances on residential and commercial construction projects and preparing them for specialist employment opportunities in the construction sector.
What you need to know first
NCEA Level 2 including 12 credits in mathematics (excluding statistics) and a minimum of 12 literacy credits at NCEA Level 1, or a relevant qualification at NZQF Level 4 or above, or a recognised equivalent
