This one day course provides an overview of the multiple types of pavement surfacing used in New Zealand, the range of materials used in construction and maintenance, surfacing type selection, equipment, and best practices in asphalt and chipseal. Health and Safety, patching procedures, QA, and testing are covered. The course is intended for engineers, supervisors, council and NZTA staff involved in pavement and road surface management.
