The Bachelor of Audio Production at SAE New Zealand is a three-year, NZQA Level 7 degree designed to develop in-depth skills and industry expertise in studio production, live sound, electronic music, audio post-production, and sound for screen. Students engage in practical, hands-on projects, collaborate with peers, and complete professional industry placements. The course draws on New Zealand’s diverse audio landscape, with a holistic focus including Te Ao Māori perspectives, and culminates in a capstone research-informed sonic-screen project.
